$100,000…We made it! You did it!
Thank you all for your generosity and being part of this pivotal campaign!
Washington Studio School’s first major campaign to bring more people into the WSS community, share our unique artistic vision widely, and raise funds for critical improvements to benefit students, artists and the public. Your generosity will help:
– Re-light our classrooms!
– Revamp our kitchen/student lounge
– Upgrade computer and sound equipment
– Replace old classroom equipment
– Buy art supplies, and much more
Every gift helped us to get over the top … Thank you!
Our WSS community expanded both in gifts and numbers to support Lights, Action, Art! This campaign relied on the tremendous generosity of many. This past fall, WSS friends and supporters helped kick off our Lights, Action, Art! campaign. And, we are so deeply grateful for this support – together donating $46,000. Adding to this impressive sum, WSS was grateful to receive an award in the form of a matching grant from the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities for $25,000. So much generosity is greatly appreciated.
Watch for our new lights, new classroom equipment, and functioning kitchen in the next few months. And, all because of each of you! Again, our warmest appreciation for all you do!
As we enter our 28th year, our vision to build a vibrant community for the visual arts is real, fueled by incredible energy, commitment and passion for our mission. Your support is a big part of our success.
Thank you for helping light our way to a “color-full” future!
