Drawing Into Painting: Black and White (Online)

Instructor: Joren Lindholm

July 11 - August 15 (six weeks)

Saturdays, 2 - 5 PM EST

This class will start with drawing materials , and for those who wish, will move into painting.  Students will be guided through a series of assignments exploring different concepts and sources.  The one constant will be that materials will be limited to black and white, and the tonal ranges created with them.  Students may work with materials such as graphite, charcoal, conte, ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic paint or oil paint. These color limitations will open up the process to much exploratory possibility. Instructions for using Zoom will be sent prior to the class.
