In this four-week class, the instructor will guide students through an in-depth engagement on how painted images are made and why. Mark-making, space, paint as flesh, and other topics will be analyzed and questioned. This is strictly a lecture course. Note-taking, assigned readings, and class discussions are important components of this course.
Who is this class for? Students at the intermediate/advanced level are encouraged to take this class.
This class will fulfill the Theory requirement for Certificate Students.
