Personal Illustrated Travel Journals with Sally Levie
Learn to document your travels and create your own sketchbook using inks, watercolors, and text. In this workshop, you will learn creative ways to record key moments from your trip through journaling and quick gestural sketches. Each student will have the opportunity to work on a small urban sketchbook and will be given a mini watercolor set. Students will be able to see Sally’s travel journals and get inspiration from the many drawings that fill them.
1-day/5h Workshop (there will be a 30-minute break for lunch, please bring a light lunch or snack )
Materials List - Please bring these materials with you.
- pencils
- erasers
- 3 archival ink drawing pens (2 different earth tones, perhaps dark and light sepia and black) (good brands are Micron or Faber Castell - fine tip
WSS is providing for you to use:
- a small sample booklet
- a small watercolor set (travel size)
