Plants and Their Abstraction

Examining and interpreting the unique gestural movements, repetitions and abstractions inherent in individual plants and groupings of plants, students will use a variety of materials to create several types of drawings. The rhythms and shapes of plant life and the spaces between them will become the source for the drawings. Participants will work from their own plants in their homes.
