Printmaking from Within:  Collagraph printmaking is analogous to collage; in the sense that you make your own printing plate from paper, fabric, cord, and mediums such as glue and molding paste. It is a versatile printing process in which the textured plate is linked up and put through the press. Composition and Shape will be explored. To stimulate creativity from within, we will discuss the following books, 'Caste- The Origins of Our Discontents' by Isabel Wilkerson; and 'Wabi-Sabi- for Artists, Designers, Poets & Philosophers', by Leonard Koren. The goal is for the readings and discussions to help you discover your personal voice.
