What is a Garden?

Mondays, 2-5 pm, 1/13-3/17

In this class, students will work with 8 different WSS faculty members to contemplate and create their own impressions and interpretations of what a garden is, can be, or is meant to be. Each instructor will present their perspective and will challenge students to respond to a prompt. The class will begin with instructor Reem Bassous ushering students into thinking about the potential of gardens in paintings through readings and writings and will culminate with her discussing the students’ findings and final works in a final critique.
