We invite you to an intimate evening with multidisciplinary artist Michael Harada in our gallery Thursday, April 2nd from 6pm to 7pm. In this intimate conversation, Michael will share insights into his expansive creative practice, exploring how his diverse professional background shapes his work across printmaking, sculpture, and digital media. From industrial craft to fine art, you’ll gain insight into the intersections that define his approach and process.
About Michael Harada
Michael Harada was born and raised on Oahu, Hawai’i, during an early life in plantation camps and military towns fueling a lifelong obsession with drawing and an eventual MFA from the University of Hawai‘i. His diverse professional journey spans from teaching fine arts and working as a fiberglass laminator in the surfboard industry to a decade-long career in theatrical set and puppet design.
