Operations Assistant (Paid, Part-time) - The Operations Assistant provides hands-on facility, direct operational, and occasional administrative support to the Director of Operations. Beyond studio maintenance, this role serves as the right hand to the Director of Operations, assisting with day-to-day workflow continuity, contractor and model logistics, building and classroom supply management, and general facility upkeep.
Volunteer Opportunities
Washington Studio School welcomes community involvement and relies on the generous support of our many Volunteers. Volunteers assist Staff with Public Programming events, Development, and Administrative tasks throughout the year. Opportunities range from our First Fridays and other Gallery events to studio clean-up days between terms.

Board members play a vital role in stewarding WSS’s mission, strengthening its community, and ensuring the long-term health of an institution dedicated to rigorous studio practice and arts education.
