7/23: WSS Third Thursday Artist Talk: Ivica Trajkovic and Lauren A Crawford

Join us in our gallery for a special Artist Talk in our gallery on Thursday, July 23rd from 6PM to 7PM, as we dive into recent 2026 Master Certificate recipient and exhibition artist Ivica Trajkovic's current thesis show, "The Lost Lamb and Tavern Tales." In conversation with WSS Faculty Artist Member and Master Certificate Program Coordinator Lauren A. Crawford, Ivica will discuss his unique creative process, translating music and vintage objects into raw, three-dimensional mixed-media sculptures built from wood, wire, cotton, and paint. He will also share how these tactile works explore the human spirit through the lens of "kafana" (the traditional tavern that serves as the very soul of Serbian social life) weaving deeply personal narratives with collective folklore to create a living visual novel.
