About Yumiko Glover

Yumiko Glover is a Japanese-born, Los Angeles–based painter whose abstract work explores transience, memory, and Japanese aesthetics. Her artistic practice is shaped by her upbringing in Hiroshima, twenty-five years in Honolulu, and her current residence in LA's Little Tokyo neighborhood. In addition to teaching painting at UC Santa Barbara, her work has been featured in solo exhibitions and permanent museum collections across the country.
