Make use of the new WSS printmaking studio!
This class will explore relief printmaking with linocuts and woodcuts using color. Color in printmaking can be significantly more advanced than a black-and-white print. Multicolor printmaking will be done with multi-block prints as well as reductive (single-block) printmaking techniques. The class will address some of the technical issues, such as transfers and registration, that come up when working with multi-color prints
*Students who wish to work independently on printmaking projects can also enroll in this course and use class time as an open studio for printmaking with help and supervision from the instructor.
