Washington Studio School is pleased to present the Annual Juried Student Show. On view are 58 works of art including drawings, paintings, prints, collages and sculptures produced in WSS classes, workshops and visiting artist master classes over the last year. The work of 39 beginning-to-advanced level students were selected by juror Allison Nance, director of IA&A at Hillyer and Washington-area initiatives for International Arts & Artists.
The show is a long-standing tradition and showcases the students' utilization of WSS's teaching philosophy of learning by observation and developing a visual language and skills to produce work that is expressive and personal.
