In the Studio with Homer Yost

Homer Yost is a figurative draftsman and sculptor. He received his undergraduate degree in humanities at Upsala College in East Orange, NJ in 1977. Yost then studied figure drawing and sculpture with Sigmund Abeles at the University of New Hampshire- Durham in the late 1970s. In the 1980’s he studied with the New York sculptor Peter Agostini at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he completed his MFA in 1984.
Currently, Yost exhibits his work at Gallery 322 in Frederick, Maryland. He teaches at the Washington Studio School and the Griffin Art Center in Frederick, Maryland.
